Apremilast
Apremilast is commonly sold under the brand name Otezla.
Apremilast is an oral medication used to treat certain inflammatory conditions, including moderate to severe plaque psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. It works by inhibiting an enzyme called phosphodiesterase 4 (PDE4), which helps reduce inflammation in the body. Apremilast helps decrease symptoms such as pain, swelling, and redness in people with psoriatic arthritis, and reduces the scaling and redness of the skin in those with psoriasis. Apremilast is generally prescribed when other treatments have not been effective or are not suitable.Tablets & Capsules
